You can open an account online via HSBC HK App without the need to visit our branches.  You may wish to walk-in to any of our branches if you are not eligible to open the account online (please view the criteria below and details at the links).

  • Holders of Entry-Exit Permit (EEP) with at least 6 months validity located in Hong Kong         
  • HKID or Passport holder residing in Australia, Macau SAR, Singapore, the UK, the US or Canada
