Key advantages of switching to eStatements and eAdvices
- Access your eStatements or eAdvices at any time, anywhere via our secure HSBC Personal Internet Banking platform
- Retrieve eStatements and eAdvices for up to 24 months and 3 months respectively
- Receive email and/or SMS notification every time a new eStatement or eAdvice is uploaded
Paper Statement Service Annual Fee
- Paper Statement Service Annual Fee was first introduced in 2013. The annual fee of HKD20 for 2017 will be collected in the first quarter of this year. All annual fees collected will be transferred to non-profit making local environmental Non-Governmental Organisations.
- Register for eStatements and eAdvices now to enjoy annual fee waiver this year onwards.

Notes:
- Accounts that are eligible to the Paper Statement Service Annual Fee include the Personal Banking Hong Kong Dollar Current, SuperEase, HSBC Premier, HSBC Advance, Personal Integrated Account1, University Student, Cash Card, Renminbi Savings, Hong Kong Dollar Statement Savings, CombiNations Statement Savings or Foreign Currency Current account(s). The fee will be applicable to and directly debited from each relevant account. For integrated accounts, the fee will be debited from HKD Savings account.
- The following customers2 are automatically exempted from the Paper Statement Service Annual Fee:
Customers who are aged below 18 or aged 65 and above
Recipients of Government’s Comprehensive Social Security Allowance
Recipients of Government’s Disability Allowance
The physically disabled or visually impaired
1 “Personal Integrated Account” is also called “SmartVantage”; Personal Integrated Account and SmartVantage are used interchangeably in customer communications including account statement, bank forms/advices, internet banking platform etc.
2 For joint account, if one of the account holders belongs to one of the exempted groups, the said account will also be exempted from paying the Paper Statement Service Annual Fee.
